Does client data stay under professional privilege?
Yes. Identifiable data is processed exclusively by European companies within the EU and not used to train models. Only anonymised or rewritten text goes to external models, contractually guaranteed.
Does the AI fabricate case law, and how do I know where an answer comes from?
No. Every statement and citation traces back to a real source in your file or in consulted case law; you see the source per answer and can trace it, and every external step is in the audit log. That prevents fabricated citations and lets you always verify the output, as the NOvA recommendations require.
Does Localign align with the NOvA recommendations and the professional rules?
Yes. Localign is built around the core values of the NOvA recommendations on AI in the legal profession (expertise, confidentiality, independence, integrity and bias) and the professional rules for notaries (KNB). The NOvA recommends asking clients for prior consent to use AI; Localign records that consent and the usage in the audit log.
Does Localign work with our DMS and practice systems?
Yes. Localign connects to your case archive and document management (such as iManage or NetDocuments) and integrates with practice management systems like BaseNet or Kleos. No installation and no managing separate models or API keys.
Where is our data processed?
Exclusively by European companies, within the EU and under European law. Data is not processed outside the EU and not used to train models.
